New licensees at Litten Tree (Lancaster), Yates (Lancaster).
The Golden Ball (Snatchems) stays open till the Bank Holiday. There is no real ale on any more and the licensee is moving to the Blue Anchor at Bolton-le-Sands.
The Redwell (Gressingham) : Quite a lot of money has been spent here and it’s now light and airy à la Lunesdale Arms with an impressive array of pumps.
The Royal (Kirkby Lonsdale) has been upgraded to a high standard but the layout is the same with the bar on the right-hand side. There are four handpumps and at the time of visit dispensing Hawkshead Bitter, Copper Dragon Pippin, Thwaites Wainwright with a spare pump for a Guest Ale.
The Litten Tree (Lancaster) has become a branch of Yates (as in wine lodges). This will be the third pub they have owned in the town — will it be any better than the others?

It will trade as a public house no 24 hour licence and no dj's etc. At this stage the intention is to stock some real ales and any suggestions are more than welcome."; Reply
