Independent brewery cask beers

A substantial late nineteenth century street-corner pub. A single large bar, renovated in 1997 with varnished floor and conspicuous curtains, but also with a 'Lancashire cotton industry' theme - a number of strange objects are fastened to the walls. Attracts a mainly, but not entirely, youthful clientele. Beer Festivals at Easter and Halloween (approx). Bomber sold as "Bobbin Beer". Big screen. Burger and pint offer on Monday evenings. Quiz Tue. Music Thu. Table football.
